Once the Auction Agreement is signed, the property moves into Underwriting for committee review and approval.
Days 1-14
After the property has passed Underwriting, the auction team will be assigned to begin launch preparations over the next two weeks, including assembling marketing assets, collating diligence, and forming the sales strategy.
Days 15-36
On launch day, the property will go live on our global marketplace and open houses/scheduled showings begin. The next three weeks are focused on targeted database outreach and early bidder aggregation. Prior to bidding opening, the seller, listing agent, and the auction team will collectively review the initial bidder lineup and starting bids to approve the opening of bidding.
Days 37-50
The day bidding opens, the MLS will be adjusted to the highest starting bid. Bidding will remain open for the next two weeks, which are focused on activating the local market, re-engaging our database, and additional bidder engagement. During this time, MLS will be continually adjusted to the current high bid.
Once bidding concludes, the property will move into the closing period, led by your chosen escrow agent, which will take approximately 1-4 weeks.
